Freezing breeze hung in the air. Two vehicles jumbled in a grotesque crash in an open hi-way. The metal poles loaded in a ten wheeler truck struck inside through the windshield of the black car. Snow began to fall signaling the arrival of holiday season.
Stormy blue eyes opened wide in shocked pain, blood dribbled down in the steady side of his mouth as he choked in it.
His breathing became shallower by the second; blood flooded his lungs as life was slowly taking away from his aching body. But he was glad. Glad that it was going to be over soon, his pained heart and tortured soul would finally come at rest.
A ghost of a smile appeared on his pale lips as bright light swallowed his being.
Time stood still….
