Roads of Life
Road of Life:
As I walk this road of life
All I can see is pain and strife
Smiling faces hiding fear
Bright eyes glistening with tears
And now what lay before me
The road turned forked is what I see
Right or left, which one to take
My directing being lead by fate
So there I sit on this road
Night fall comes and goes
And at the break of light
I decided to go right
But to my surprise
Another fork fills my eyes
Another choice, another day
Which direction, which way
Throughout our lives we will see
Choices make who we are to be
Choosing right or choosing wrong
Is the chance we take all life long
But on the endless roads of life
Choices filling my site I can see the fork in the bend
So I sit once more, and think again
