Indiviuality
When do we figure out
What we are to do
Who we are to be
Do we even get a clue
People say to me
They know what is best
But individuals
Don’t conform unto the rest
But is that who we are
Each different in their own way
Then why do we try
To conform every single day
Don’t say stupid things
Don’t wear those clothes
Don’t do that instead of this
Hide differences that show
What is this thing called normal
Do people truly know
Or are we really based
On what the outside shows
Blonde hair, brown skin
White flesh or black
No longer told what is right
Blinded by false facts
When will we realize
What normal really means
Who we truly are
Remains to be seen
So when you hear people say
What isn’t cool and what really is
Just remember who you are
And it is your life you have to live
