Laumavipin: Forest Shielding the Darkness
Prologue
Vimizet is home to the largest forest on the entire planet of Terra. The forest is called Laumavipin, and it covers almost the entirety of Vimizet.
The citizens of Vimizet live scattered communities or isolated cabins, bound together by a single city and the laws of the Council. Though Vimizets are far from the greatest power on Terra, they live without fear of greater countries. Laumavipin protects its own.
Laumavipin is known as the Wolves’ Forest, and for good reason. They were the only place on Terra that the Fenrir – giant, ferocious wolves known and feared through all of Terra – could be found.
The people living in Laumavipin had a certain kinship with the Fenrir, and as a result – a result of what, exactly, was wildly speculated about in the courts of more ‘civilized’ countries – there were no domesticated dogs of any kind found within Vimizet’s borders.
Legend has it that once Vimizet was a great country, known for its lavish taste and powerful monarchs. It was the peak of civilization before some internal struggle caused it to collapse in on itself. But anyone living there, especially the Council, would laugh and ask where such wealth would fit, what monarch would live in a small cabin, what sort of great power were they, living in their all-encompassing Laumavipin.
