When Shadows turn to Light.
"Get out and stay out!" the bouncer cried as he shoved the startled singer in the alley. The lean man cringed when the door slammed with a metallic clang.
Verdine Cecil struggled to his feet, holding his forehead with his right hand. The alcohol was taking effect on all of his senses, leaving Verdine helpless, staggering down the alley.
He turned down another side alley and saw a couple necking.
"Get a room," Verdine said, disgusted.
The dark haired man looked up from his prey, feasting his eyes on the singer. Blood dribbled from the corner of his pale mouth as ebony eyes met a widened violet.
"What was that you were saying?" The waist length raven hair shimmered in the moonlight, a smirk playing at his lips.
Verdine silently screamed, his mouth hanging agape. The vampire moved towards him with exceptional speed, blood lust oozing from his aura.
"Such a beautiful creature," a slightly clawed hand ran itself through Verdine's red and black streaked hair while the other held his chin up.
"Please don't kill me," Verdine squeaked out, his violet eyes going impossibly wider.
"Ah, you underestimate me. I do not bother myself with intoxicated fools," A smile showed fangs being licked by the vampire. "I doubt you'll remember me, but we will meet again," with this said, the vampire leaped into the air, disappearing in the night.
Verdine collapsed, shear terror taking over his already weakened body.
