I gave you heart
And all of my love.
I believed this was the start;
The start of something more.
No, not the start.
Anything but what was thought.
From my chest my heart was torn;
Is this what you sought to do?
Never before have I felt so lied to;
Never have I felt such a lack of respect.
I now feel like I never knew you.
One can never know what to expect.
You treated me like a fool.
I was led to believe you could be trusted.
But it seems I was only a tool.
Could your heart be rusted?
I gave you my heart
And all of my love
Your words now seem so tart.
And my heart is on the floor.
