Author’s Note: I changed my mind once again (I do a lot of that) and decided to post the chapters to the newly rewritten Requiem right here. Why didn’t I just delete the story and start over again? Because I’m greedy and wanted to keep all of my reviews.


Reasoning: I rewrote Requiem because I hated the way I had written it before. I had gone over it, editing it, so many times that I didn’t even want to look at it anymore. Afterwards I started writing Dragon, Dragon’s Mate, and Gravekeeper and discovered that I tend to write better when writing in the first person. Therefore I’m rewriting Requiem in the first person, which will hopefully make it better than before.


Summery: Crimson Nightshade was an average human, as average as humans get when one lives in a world of monsters and magic. But one night, that all changed. On that night, Crimson died; after that night, he was no longer human.
