Self-important existence,

Why do you fear death?

To fear death is to fear life itself.

Stuck in the forest with the wild.

The trees protect you from what is beyond it.

Never to feel the tears of mercy freely given.

You feel wetness upon your cheek,

And wonder what foreign disease has been cast upon you.

The animals sing a tune of mourning,

You are misplaced,

Fear consumes you,

You blanket yourself in their world,

destroying the cycle of life for all of mankind,

for your own self-important existence.
