An orphan heart

(ever wonder what happens to those little orphans SHiro and Ryuchi when they grow up?)

Introduction

The orphanages were places where boys unclaimed by their fathers would go after they were

released from the factory. This story is about a bond between two such orphans. Shiro

and Ryuchi, having not been related in any way but were as close as any two young boys

could be, and were dependant on each other day after day. Seven year old Shiro was close

to four feet tall and had messy blonde hair and big brown eyes; he was always seen with

Ryuchi hanging on him, five year old Ryuchi was only a bit shorter than Shiro and had

black hair and bright blue eyes; he was commonly seen sucking his thumb.

The bond did not last as the boys were separated into different families. Shiro was adopted

by a kind man by the name of Gingi Sakamoto. Gingi was 6’3” tall and had dark brown hair

and brown eyes. He was unable to have a son of his own and found Shiro to be the perfect

son to pass his business to. Ryuchi was adopted by a young twenty-three year old man by

the name of Kail Harrison. Kail was 6’1” with a gentile face, green eyes, and short blonde

hair that fell neatly around his face framing his features. He had everything that a boy

could ever want or need.

Pastor Harris made sure that the boys went to good homes and felt heartbroken when the

two cried having been taken away from each other.

“SHIWO!” Ryuchi cried and reached out towards his best and only friend from Mr. Harrison’s

arms. “SHIWO I DON’T WANNA GO WIFOUT YOU!” Tears streamed down his face as he began to

feel lost.

Shiro couldn’t let himself cry he just shouted from where he was holding Mr. Sakamoto’s

hand. “Don’t cry Ryuchi! We’ll see each other again…” he could feel himself starting to

cry at saying this but he didn’t want his friend to be upset. “…I promise!”

“Those two became close…almost as close as brothers.” Was all the pastor could think as

the two men walked the children out and away from the orphanage. Separating the two boys

for who knows how long.
