Wind
The wind breathes through my
hair
Reminding me I am not alone
I open my eyes
To greet the sight
Of a warm moon
High in the sky
It is proof of what is
waiting for me
Just above the lush hills of
green
As the sun sets my heart beat
grows
Thinking of you, I always
feel as though I am already home
To wind breathes through my
hair
And I realize that those
steps
Bringing me closer to the one
I love
Are blessed stepping stones
in a journey
A journey that reaps the best
award of all
Happiness
Thinking of this, I am able
to smile
Though the weight on my
shoulders is great
With each step, a little is
thrown aside
And I am able to move forward
a bit more
Any burden I had to bear
Was worth the feeling of your
warmth
Spreading through me
