The Cherry Treestyle='font-size:16.0pt'>
A cherry tree sits amongst
fields of gray
Its pink petals float gently
Swayed by the wind
Nature waits for it to bear
its sweet fruit
It hums with energy, life,
looking towards the spring
The surrounding fields of
death
Do noting to rid it of its
beauty
Though the weed try hard to
choke at the roots
The sun beams down and it
blossoms all the same
The pink snowfall carpets the
dull field
Breathing new life into
tiresome graves of flowers
A cherry tree sits amongst
fields of gray
Sheltering all who wish to
rest beneath its branches
If you are gentle, it may
share with you its luscious fruit
And if you listen closely,
you can hear its blossoms sing
