Rain and Rainbow
The rain is the angel’s tears
Shed from the sorrow of
mankind
Meant to cleanse the angst of
mortality and passion
Its sobriety reminds that all
are merely grains of sand
Washed away by tears of
regret
But following this
A reminder of joy, the reason
for existence
The rain brings
Always a rainbow with it
Until the clouds clear away
for the dawn
