Contrasted on the dark
settings

Of the rainy day

The taste of crisp maple and
cool spring water

Lay peacefully on my tongue

The light pitter, dripping of
the raindrops

So peaceful

The smell of changing leaves

I drift off to the perfect
lullaby

My skin is wet and my jacket
slips

Over my arms

The warmth heavenly

On a cool autumn day
