Cuatro Sangrers Hermanas
Sage searched for Sapphire and Scarlet everywhere. She found Sapphire in her room writing her story Stubborn Deceit.
“Meeting in the den. Now!” she said.
With that she walked away to find Scarlet. She found her in her room also. But she was on the computer.
“I’m calling a meeting in the den right now.”
Again she left and went straight to the den and waited. Sapphire and Scarlet came in at the same time. Sapphire went and sat in the leather recliner and Scarlet went and sprawled out on the leather couch. Five minutes passed and Scarlet got impatient and got up and started to leave.
“Where are you going?” Sage asked irritant dripping from her voice.
“As much as I would like to stay here and you know sit in silence I have a date to get ready for.” Scarlet answered back.
She turned around and kept walking toward the door. Again Sage’s voice stopped her. “Did I tell you, you could leave? I called this meeting and I haven’t ended it yet. So therefore I think it would be smart for you to sit right back down in your seat.” She said to her.
Scarlet looked at her and started laughing.
“What’s so funny? Sage asked her.
“Well the fact that you one, you actually think you can tell me what to do and two you really believe that I’m going to listen to you.” She answered Sage.
Sensing the tension between the two, Sapphire intervened.
“Hey, you guys come on” she said as she came in between the two. “Scarlet can you please go sit back down and Sage can you please tell us why you called this meeting.”
“Fine, Scarlet said as she rolled her eyes and went back to her seat.
“Whatever.” Sage said and went back to her seat.
Sapphire sighed and also went back to her seat.
“For the sixth time this month I got attacked yesterday while we were all shopping.” Sage started. Both of you passed me and did nothing. I was on the brink of dying while you looked dead at me and then just walked away with some boy. What your tenth one this week (it was Tuesday)?” She said to Scarlet.
“Sapphire, I don’t even know what the hell you were doing you just sat there and watched me for I don’t know how long.” She told her angrily.
“ How in the hell were we supposed to know you were getting attacked? It’s not like you had on the biggest sign that said Help me I’m getting attacked.” Scarlet said to her.
“I’m fighting, struggling, and choking, I wasn’t knitting a sweater out there I was getting my ass kicked.” Sage snapped back.
“Listen” Sapphire started. You know how you are; you always get into a fight with somebody, more so people from all your fighting classes. That’s what I thought was going on. Okay?”
“Oh that’s so cute. But as much as you are trying to justify yourselves it won’t word sorry.” Sage told them.
“Look, we are really sorry that you got attacked but don’t be taking shit out on us. It wasn’t our fault that what looked normal turned out to be something different.” Scarlet all but yelled.
“You know what forget it.” She said to Sage as she saw the look on her face. “You won’t listen anyway so therefore there is no need to try to explain myself to you. I got places to go Adios chica.” She finished while doing a fake salute.
“Spoken like a true back-stabbing slut like yourself.” Sage spit back towards Scarlet. Her voice dripping with malice and pain.
“Excuse me” Scarlet said. “I didn’t quite hear that very clearly wanna repeat that for me.” She finished.
“I-called-you-a-true-back-stabbing-slut.” Sage said.
Luckily for Sage she saw Scarlet pick up the chair that was right next to her and be thrown towards her.
“Where the hell do you get off calling me a slut? I told you stupid ass that I was sorry. Okay? You need to fucking get off your high pedestal and come back down to reality don’t act like you haven’t done anything to us or thought you saw something and you didn’t. So don’t you even try to call me a slut out of your stupid little fit of anger!” Scarlet all but screamed at her.
“Look you guys, you need to calm down. This is stupid.” Sapphire said trying to stop all what was going on.
“ Oh shut it Sapphire. What’s the whole point of you talking? It makes no difference.” Sage told her.
“At least I’m trying to help other than arguing and being irrational.” She retaliated
“Would you just shut it for two seconds Sapphire.” Scarlet said in her fit of anger.
“You know what Fuck both of you” Sapphire said and walked out of the room.
At that moment a car honked outside.
“I’m gone Scarlet said and walked out anger still etched on her face.
Sage sat back down and decided to call half her other friends.
3 hours later
Scarlet walked back in the house as she went upstairs.
Sage, Sapphire and herself all bumped into each other. For five minutes they just stood there.
“I’m moving out.” Sapphire finally said.
“Me too.” Scarlet replied.
“I’m also moving out.” Sage finally said.”
“ What are we going to do about the house?” Sapphire asked.
“I already sold it to an anonymous buyer. You’ll get your share once I get the money.” Sage answered.
1 hour later
Three cabs were outside as the three girls walked down the driveway in silence. As they each got into their own cab and it drove away, each realized that the bond they once had was broken. They were no longer friends, sisters, or even people they knew and said hi to occasionally. No, they were now enemies and as that realization finally sunk in, a tear slid down each person’s face cause in short. To them, what this meant was
