Lost soul

Once upon a time, in a tiny little box ,
lay the remains of a child.
She had once been beautiful ,
slender and blonde,
but now she lay stuffed inside a rotting coffin.
Both eyes had been blue,
now they were sunken, no longer vibrant.
Her skin had been pale as the moon,
now it held bruises and tears.
The young girl was once something new.
Now she decomposed just as they normally do.
