The Dark Forest
Once upon a time, deep in a forest of black, there lived a pale faced child. Her eyes were as bright as the sea and the hair atop her head looked as though it had been kissed by the sun.
The little girl had been alone since birth. She had wandered about the ground, fingers and feet caked with mud and the blood of her stepping. Her body had been covered in scar's, most nearly as old as her.
Since the hour of her birth, she had cried and screamed, hoping that her bearer would come and show her the love and warmth of a mother. In doing so, her voice faded and the very pupils of her eyes became sore. She could not see nor could she speak.
And so the child moved, sliding over the roots, stepping through mud and feasting on whatever it was she could find. In the forest, there was nothing. Only the insects and plants had managed to survive . The rain had been kind and the trees were left to grow nearly hundreds of feet tall. Their roots were planted deep into the ground and even had bearings atop the earth.. Plants and flowers held no vibrant colors. They grew as if they were dead, always rotting. A stench crept through the air , putrid and thick. The little girl had grown accustomed to these conditions and they bothered her not.
After 19 years of such, she had given up all hope of ever seeing, speaking, or finding another soul.
One night, when the clouds moved together, the earth iced over and what was left of the forest died. The child could not feel from her fingers or toes and was left to starve. There was nothing left to feast upon , and the dark earth was hard, frozen solid.
She rested her body against a dead tree at the heart of the forest and started to slipped into nothingness. she fell into a dark slumber. The girl had only hoped that she could fade away, hoping that all traces of her existance would simply dissapear..
But! Before such could happen, she could feel warmth at her fingers. She could feel her body waking for the first time in so many, many years. Her eyes shot open and she could see! A gasp slipped from her cracked lips and she knew that she could speak again!
The deep blue eyes slid down only to find a dark pair of brown orbs. There at her feet lay a wolf. His fur was black as the night and he was much, much larger than any of the others that used to live about the forest. He began to lick at her leg, nosing at her knee.
The girl could not stand this and so she fell forth, wrapping both arms about his massive throat.
"Please" She whispered "Take me away from this pain. Take me away from the bitter cold..I want to live.."
The wolf's lips slipped into a smile and he whispered into her pale ear "You are MINE now, girl. I will teach you what it is to live..."
And so the beast took her. He ushered her to her knee's and mated with her as if she were one of his own. The girl simply pushed her cheek to the frozen ground and accepted his gift. She accepted him as her own.
Soon after, she could feel arms slithering about her. Her eyes widened and she gazed over her shoulder only to find black hair and deep brown eyes. The wolf had turned into a man. His lips curled into a wicked grin and he whispered, voice deep and labored "You are MINE now child..I will never let you stray again. I will love and honor you."
Tears welled up in her eyes and all she could utter was "Thank you, Wolf.."
Welp! Thats it..Let me know what you think! Its not the best, but its from my skull.
