The Shock of Reality
Desire hit the ground in front of the lovers
The bolt of electricity flowed through their bodies and out their fingertips
Quickened pulses beat like drums in the quiet night
The passion sparked could have brought the dead back to life
Lovers, companions, friends
If you live without friendship, then you are with a stranger
If you live without companionship then you have no presence that can give you happiness and ease pain
If you live without love...
...Then you have never lived at all
Passion is important but sometimes takes presidency over what we truly need
