Death’s Lament
His voice
Filled with tears and blood
Reverberates through the
Cellar door
Black wings caress his
Snowing/dying/flesh
And the spiny tentacles
Filled with teeth and acid
Wrap around his young throat
Stifling his cries
The wire digs into his flesh
The pus oozing onto the floor
His golden hair covered in his own blood
He sees it
The black moon eclipsing
And the ring
Is shadowed in those red
Mirrored eyes
Down in the cellar
Down in the dark
All alone
And innocence dies
The mirror shatters
