The truth of immortality
“Do you want to be immortal?”
“Yes”
“Do you want to never sleep?”
Quizzically “What do you mean?”
“ Would you want to never sleep; to be always awake and grow tireder and tireder but never be able to sleep? To lie there tired out of body and mind your eyes closed utterly still but unable to sleep. Always getting tireder. Sometimes youll drink coffe or find something that wakes you up a little but then again your more tired then ever.”
“Do you want that?”
”No. Why would I?”
“ I may want to stay awake for a few days to not sleep a few nights but when I get tired enough I want to be able to sleep truly sleep.”
“ Of course that is understandable.”
“ Then why did you say you wanted that?”
“I didn’t.”
“But you did! You said you wanted to live forever that you wanted to be truly immortal. That you wanted to be awake forever. For death is just the sleep at the end of a very long day. If it is the sleep at the end of a few days all is well. If you are not truly immortal but will not die of old age. But if you never sleep you grow tired and more tired and yet can never sleep. Remember remember sometimes you get what you wish for even if its not what you truly want."
But some of them, some, will not understand and will still wish for immortality for a life without ending.
But those who understand will no longer wish for it. For everyone wants to sleep someday. Everyone.

Oh and if anyone can find the name for a phobia of true immortality or of immortality then pleas tell me.
