These walls… aren’t ordinary. This closet… isn’t normal. This… place has caused death to many before me. Why? My people have done nothing wrong to them, yet here we are, trapped in hell. My breathing becomes rapid. Sweat pours from every part of my body. Heat begins to rise. My mind tells me that there’s nothing that I can do, that this is my time. I go into the fetal position & await death’s cold clammy hands to take me. As I layed curled in a ball, my eyes spot a tree. A very tall tree. Why am I seeing this tree. Have I gone mad? As if that weren’t enough, the entire space disappears. Now I’m floating above the clouds.
The tree is still present… & now seats appear under them. The seats are slowly filled with… my relatives; my mom, my dad, brothers & sisters, everyone. I don’t believe what I’m seeing. My family… they call to me. I slowly walk towards them to take the only empty seat besides my wife & children. Everyone’s smiling & happy as if nothing ever happened to them. I hear puppies barking from my left. I look down & see them sitting in a box. The very same box that I saw them die in.
From both sides of us, water fell from the falls. It was truly a peaceful site to behold. Suddenly a window appears to my left. I slowly approach it to cure my curiosity. As I look thought the window I see my body, curled in a ball, & pale as pale could get. The room filled with gas. I realized what had happened. I know now where I am. I return to my seat & converse with my family.
