Henry/Vicki Dinner Bit

Leaning against the door she had just closed, Vicki closed her eyes and rested her head on the cool wood. The pain digging into her chest bearable only through the fact that it would go away after she caught her breath. Taking a deep measured breath, Vicki’s mouth curved ever so slightly into a smile. In mid breath she felt a hand finger a wisp of hair that had escaped from her ponytail sometime earlier in the night. Vicki’s eyes jerked open, only to be met by clear blue ones and a grin that demanded she regulate her breathing for other reasons.

“Why are you smiling like that?” His voice darkening as the sexual promises wove themselves into their bodies, the power within him pulsing against his ever-present restraints. Giving in just a little, Henry’s right hand slid from Vicki’s hair to her cheek and down her neck until his fingers danced lightly back and forth across the expanse from her ear to her shoulder.

Pushing away her reaction to the purposely-enticing timbre of Henry’s voice and the feel of his fingers running against her skin, Vicki leaned forward to push him out of the personal space he always seemed to be invading. “I was thinking that this is the first time in weeks that we’ve BOTH walked into your apartment.”

Chuckling, Henry ignored the hands pushing him away from what he sought and covered them with his own. Casually he drifted his left hand down her forearm, up her upper arm, and over her shoulder to rest on the door beside her head. At the same time, Henry’s right hand moved from the heated skin of her neck to frame the other side of her head. He leaned down towards her earlobe.

Vicki’s hands slid down his chest, then his stomach and grazed his hip as they fell into tight balls at her hips.

His nose was just shy of actual physical contact as his breath tickled the sensitive flesh hidden behind her lobe. A purely male smile filled his face as he felt her breath catch and her eyes blink for a moment or two longer than usual.

His lips, soft as velvet, moved up her ear, the sensation filling both their bodies with a hunger for something more substantial. Whispering, each word blew puffs of air into her ear and down her body. “It’s not everyday we can solve a problem of yours with just a little physical exertion.” Henry’s own eyes closed as he pushed further into her personal space, stopping only when he was sure he had surrounded her, had drowned her senses with himself. All the while, his right hand slipped down the door and silently turned the lock, “It’s such a simple solution—physical exertion.”

As the word ‘physical’ found its way through the fog of Vicki’s mind, she felt Henry’s hand settle on her waist. At the full on contact her mind pulled back. Grabbing temptation himself by the shoulders once again, she jerked him firmly against her until the clothing seemed to have melted away.

At his sudden intake of air Vicki smiled, she had him. Turning them both around she pinned him against the door with a resounding thud. “I’m hungry.” With that, she turned and walked out of his shocked grasp and towards his rarely stocked kitchen.

“So am I,” he thought as he watched Vicki walk away from him once again. Mimicking Vicki’s earlier pose, he laid his head back against the door and listened to the rummaging in his kitchen. He knew what little she was going to find in there: a few beers, her left over Chinese food and a large canister of coffee. He hadn’t needed to go grocery shopping in a while. Picturing her eating the left over Lo Mien noodles caused him to stand up straight. With a wicked grin, he was on his way to the kitchen. “So am I Vicki.”
