nocturnal
I dont want to sleep, 'cause you are like a dream
I stay up every hour, or so it may seem
I watch the winter sky with angry orange and dark blue
But i withstand any weather whilst talking to you
I dont want to rest, imagination is enough
i think of you and me hand in hand, the floor frosted and rough
the january month scraping by people's minds darkened with hats
we'll exhilerate and glow when we pass the narcotic-filled flats.
