Trinity
I am the Maiden, I am the Spring.
I am the beginning, of each little thing;
Life and rebirth, the awakening earth;
Each little flower, every little springtime shower;
As the night is chased away by the dawn time light.
All of these things are in my sight.
Come and see me dance,
I am creation’s sweet voice.
Here me sing new existence.
I am the Mother,
The one the Sun God chose as his lover;
I am the fruit on the tree, the bounty of the sea –
The sun over the meadow, who chased away Winter’s dark, dark shadow.
The kiss of the earth as the harvest came;
Summer sets all aflame!
I bring the zephyr,
Make the summer sky azure,
I am life, the Earth Mother.
I am the wise one, known as the Crone.
It is from me that mysteries are known;
I am the keeper of the gate, the one also called Hecate;
When everything is old, and winter brings the cold,
I am there, glen, wood and dale, hidden from sight by my otherworldly veil.
I come forth at by the beginning of night,
The Dark Mother, the Old Mother, the Bone Mother, treading floors of white.
Everything does die,
I am the end, which is nigh,
Step through the black gates and fly.
