So...hi. This is my first fic ever so....sorry if it sucks? I would like to thank (and curse) my friend Sethypoo. You were the one who planted this idea in my head deep enough it just wouldn't leave. Okay I guess that's it. One with the story!

The year was 2135; it was the year that changed human history forever. On April 10, 2135 the entire world was watching their televisions for humankind had no idea what was about to happen. On that day they made contact with life forms outside their solar system for the first time. There was such celebrating that day. Humans had finally accomplished what was said to be impossible. But the victory was short lived.

Soon after that day alien scientists discovered that human women’s reproductive system was compatible with just about every species in the universe. Not only that but their birth success rate was much higher than that of any other life form. Those discoveries were what doomed the human population. That time in history would later be referred to as “The Breeding Wars”.

Thousands of alien species from across the universe came to take human women for themselves. Slave traders flocked to Earth when the demand for humans skyrocketed. You were considered wealthy if you had your own harem of humans. The humans were taken in small groups of five or six at time. Not just women, but men as well. Some females were forced to mate with their alien masters right away. But others were bred with other male humans first to insure the survival of the race. It became evident that humans were just a step up from the cats and dogs they used to own and breed.

Some humans thought they were just getting what they deserved. After all they had used up most of Earth’s natural resources and the planet had been dying. Others hated being treated like animals and chose to rebel against their masters. It ended in massive blood shed. They were no match for the alien technology.

Despite the efforts to breed humans with other humans to save the race by the year 2235 there exactly three hundred and ninety seven pure humans, two thousand fifty seven half humans, and five thousand one hundred and forty two quarter humans. It was then that the “Human Protection Acts” came out by the Galaxy Governing Union. The Acts stated that beings with more then half human blood must be sent protection reserves. Second you couldn’t simply just breed with a human anymore. You had to gain their consent and then literally fill out a mountain of paperwork if you wanted to take them off the preserve.

At one point in time a group of Siren researchers requested permission to study the humans on the preserve, it was granted. Sirens one of the four races that was the closest matched to humans. The only real difference between the two was Sirens had longer life spans and on their backs they had what looked like large butterfly wings.

While on the preserve one of the researchers, Kadon, fell in love with a beautiful young human girl, Marina. Determined to take her back to Sire with him Kadon asked permission to take her. Even after all the paperwork permission was denied.

So her stole her.

Together they went into hiding just outside of the Caton solar system. There they lived in happiness and had their first child. With the little girl in their home Kadon and Marina felt as if their lives could not be any better. Sadly all happiness is fleeting.

Word had gotten out that a human woman was out and up for grabs. It didn’t take long for Kadon and Marina’s lives to be destroyed. When it was investigated authorities came to the conclusion that they were killed trying to defend their home and save their daughter. It did no good though because the house had been burned down to the ground and there was no trace of their baby girl whatsoever.
