Don‘t leave them half- done

Don't leave them half-done
(That's for the worst, because-
No one saves partly broken
Nor leads almost lost...)

Sounds of sobbing in the shadows –
But the passers-by keep speed.
Souls wander in not-yet-quite-rejection,
Souls crave to be crushed.

Timid smiles transpierces sorrow -
Feathers torn and strange limbs lost.
It is not easy to soar the sky with wings both cut,
But... it is fashionable to have limbs four.

Tin soldiers mustn’t strive for perfection -
Tin soldiers mustn’t hope to live.
Why then, their proud hearts aimlessly struggle?
Why then, they straggling armies aren't blown by whiff of wind?

Save souls or break souls. (Completely)
Your's is the right to choose.
For these two ultimatums
Both are borne from need. (And need is what hearts crave)

And so, their fall in the darkness stays still.
As long as the hope -
For the kiss of a vampire
Remains.
