The end of the begin
According to legend about 200 years ago while a peaceful human race slept warm in their beds, thinking about the snow covered earth and the up coming Christmas celebrations a child was born deep within the darkest part of Netherworld were even your nightmares would dare to tread. His name was Maldora.
Once he had gained his full power and strength he took his place on the throne of the Netherworld were he ruled as the Dark Prince of all Netherworld, but his greed did not stop there he also set his sights on the human world, he wanted them to bowing at his feet. However, little did he know that living on earth was the son of the last king of the Netherworld Phillip, his pregnant wife Pandora and their two children Kathryn and Pyre.
Once word reached, Phillip that Maldora had taken his fathers throne he was force so he and his two children lead the rebel forces against Maldora and his armies. The battle was long and many lost their lives but they soon drove them back, when he saw he was losing Maldora went to the human world and kidnapped Pandora, when Phillip found out he hunted Maldora down until he found him on top of the Laver Mountain that supplied the fire and laver to the Nether world.
There was a great battle between them and Phillip was able to send Maldora to his doom in the volcano but at the cost of his own life. Maldora grabbed Phillip's leg as he fell and took him with him to there doom. However, because of this brave acted, the Human world was free or so they thought.
12 year after the great battle on the eve of her youngest son Dante's 12 birthday their home was attacked by Omens, hooded demons from hell who had survived the battle and wished to bring back their master. Pandora and the children fought back as hard as they could but it was in vain, Pandora, Kathryn and Pyre were all taken from their home. However, Dante on the other hand was presumed dead by the Omens after one of them push their sword through his chest and heart.
As he, lay there dieing Dante felt something string in his body, something he had never felt before, before he knew it he had lifted himself off the sword and was holding it high above his head. As blue flashes of lighting hit the sword and traveled down into him Dante heard his fathers voice in his head
"my son your are all that is left to keep this world free, free you family and then finish what I started, always remember help comes to troughs who ask for it."
With that, Dante fell to his knees where he stayed for a while before racing in to his home and down to the cellar where his mother had stored what was left of his father stuff. Down their Dante found a large sword with a skull for a handle and a large dragon, engrave right down the blade. Dante also found many spells and other thing to help him on his quest and as he knelt there before his father stuff he vowed to get his family back and put an end to Maldora rain of terror even if it cost him his life.
