sick and alone
in her hospital bed
has no one to miss her
when she is dead
her illness is eating
away at her heart
her illness is loneliness
and she's had it from the start
when she was little
there was no one to care
and as she grew older
she got use to love never being there
now she is old
broken and weak
no one will know she existed
by this time next week
