Love Me Forever?
Kylie sighed, closing her eyes. She was so glad that it was the weekend. Barely a month into school, and she was nearly overwhelmed, what with homework and the school play taking up so much of her time. Flopping down on her bed, she half expected to fall asleep, when her phone rang. Groaning, the sixteen-year-old stood up.
"Hello?" she answered, furrowing her brow in slight frustration. "Well don't you sound cheerful?" Kylie's best friend Anna asked, laughing. "What's up?" Kylie brushed her red hair out of her face. "Nothing much. Just hella bored. You?" Anna giggled. "Same. Go online." Kylie rolled her eyes. "Why?" she whined, moving to her computer and sitting down. it was always running, unless for some reason it shut off by itself. Kylie didn't really care if it died. She had two extras, and could save up for a third easily.
"Because... um.... I want you to," Anna replied haltingly. She never had good reasons for things, it seemed. Kylie sighed heavily. "Oh, fine."
Opening up her Internet browser, Kylie decided to log into her eSpin-the-Bottle account. She had had it for a while, just for fun, and nothing had happened. Kylie frowned. '1 New Message'. That was odd. Someone had found her profile?
"Hey, I'll call you back later, okay, Anna?" her friend gave the okay and hung up. Kylie clicked on her new 'note'.
"Howdy. I just thought I'd pass you a note because you look like someone I'd like to get to know a lot better. I hope you write me back because every minute you don't, God kills a kitten. Please, think of the kittens. Hope to hear from you soon! evillives."
Kylie raised an eyebrow. Was this guy for real? She clicked on his profile, and her jaw dropped. He was gorgeous, if his JPEG was being honest. And apparently, he lived in the same city as her. Without another word, she sent him a note in reply, and added him to her list. After that, she sent him an e-mail and gave him her messenger address.
She had no idea what she was doing, but she knew that she was in serious lust now.
