I’m kind of new in all this writing thing but I get to enjoy it a lot so I’ll hope you see my work and hopefully give me feedback of what you think about it
I really enjoy writing and reading so please, just enjoy it
Only for your information I use to write in Spanish so this is for improving my English and having fun, anyway if you find terrible mistakes please tell me so I can fix it
This story is based in my own experiences and fantasies I had seen and though of, so it has sentimental value for me. Indeed all the thoughts, flashbacks and day-dreams or dreams from the characters are things that actually happened to real people

THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE
Nobody expected that this would happen… just a young couple that had been dreaming of it for so long, and wanted it to happen some day
They met several years ago. They get along well one with another since the first moment they talked but, they didn’t imagine that their friendship will develop into something more someday
They lived in different cities, and even with that they staid in touch, meeting on holydays. Some time passed and they continued like that. Soon they become best friends; other feelings just came with time…
They always had feelings for each other, but distance is a barrier really difficult to go trough and they were scared to just let it be. When they finally decided to confess their feelings they had to deal with a max challenge… to lose the only way to see each other without waiting for holydays
Even with the problem being, they continued their relationship. Even with the distance between them and the bad commentaries of family and friends, their feelings seemed to be growing for each other. They also had more and more problems to meet with frequency but they talked every single day and supported each other in every moment they needed
Apparently everything was going just right, or apparently for them is like that… but the truth is that you get to miss that person a lot and, of course there is the physical need of contact from that person you like
Words could be good for their hearths but is well known that an action its worth more than a thousand words. That’s why the few times they get to see each other, those actions seemed to worth a whole treasure for them, and they will surely remember it for a long time
If that moment to see each other, the moment of the encounter never gets by itself, it seems to be necessary to force it to arrive, don’t you think?
Someone had to give the first step…
So that’s how the story of the encounter between Amanda and Daniel begins
Amanda, just started the engine of her car that morning, she had already taken a decision and had a plan, she will go and visit him
Him… the guy that had taken her hearth and her dreams, that guy that she had known as well as if they lived together. The guy with the one she could talk everyday, about anything and never get bored
She had never taken that route… but, she was just thinking – there is always a first time for everything, isn’t it? – And that moment seemed to be the ideal one for that
That morning she decided this without thinking it too much, she just took her bag and get into it the essentials: clothing and some of her personal staff. She was wishing to stay some days near him. The small bag was at her side in the car but she wasn’t even thinking about it, instead she was thinking in the road. She had never been in this road and she was just wishing to find out what she was looking for
After the CD run out of the best songs, she seemed to arrived in the city she was looking for – okay I’m here… now what am I supposed to do? – she though. She followed the principal avenue and soon enough she found a big sign with a familiar name, his last name
After following a few streets and signs she get to the establishment
She got in – Hi, good morning I’m looking for Daniel… - she was just going to finish when someone interrupt her
Mr Daniel this young lady seems to be looking for you sir – said de dependent of the store going through the alleys
Oh… - she was looking at the man that just came after that, he looked really familiar to her – I was looking for Daniel John, do you know him sir?
Of course I do – he said watching her carefully – its my son
Oh so you – Oh Gosh its his father! – So you’re his father… haha – she said with a nervous chuckle
Of course I am… - he was looking steadily at her – so tell me… who are and why are you looking for him? You look really familiar to me
Oh you see… I’ll had preferred if he introduced me by himself but I guess I have no choice, I’m Amanda, I don’t know if he had talked to you something about me sometime
Amanda? – he looked at her startled in silence for a while – I see… yeah that’s why you look familiar, you’re definitely the girl from the photo he always has with him – she smiled to him- I’ll tell him you are here, but I still don’t understand why he didn’t look for you if he knew you were coming – he said as he took his cell phone
She got really red after what he said – no no! Please!
What?
He… he doesn’t know I’m here – she said really ashamed – I want to give him the surprise, so I don’t what him to find out
Oh I see… okay I’ll explain you where is his house and he will get really happy when he sees you – he smiled to her – he is always talking about you at work did you know that?
After that she could only give him a big and shy smile

That morning he received a message “I’m traveling, I’ll be driving so I’ll talk to you later. I miss you…” he blushed a little when he read the text message, he always did when they were her words, cause he still felt a tingly butterflies sensation in his stomach each time she demonstrate him affection
He loved her so much. Once, he visited her, after the occasions to do that were really difficult to find, and they had a great time. He was willing to make it happen again but, between classes, work, and her own classes too, it was nearly impossible for them to see each other soon
The ones who saw his face that night, time ago, when he reached home after being with her, must have thought that he had the most wonderful time of his life and that he made imaginable things with her, but he refused to said them what really happened that night. Reality was far from his friends thoughts. The real thing was that, that night they had their first date. They had a walk outside near her home and talked all the way long, but somehow they started to remember sad moments they had lived recently in which they always looked for the support of each other
They reached a beach and hug each other with tears trying to stream down their eyes, and when they tried to have their first kiss something happened. They had a hint of fear in their eyes that they couldn’t explain. That night, they talked by phone until midnight, after they reached her home and said good bye, and knew that they had waited so long for that date and that kiss to happen… but something in Daniel’s mind told him it was not the best moment
When he saw into her eyes that night, he saw fear, and it invaded him too, so he couldn’t kiss her. But another opportunity will approach soon and he was just happy because he get to have time with her in that occasion
Yeah… it was a pretty night – he thought for himself – I hope we could see each other frequently… its been so long…
If before that date their occasions to meet were difficult, now they were nearly impossible. She always understood their situation, and was patient and tell him not to get upset about it, but he couldn’t take it any more, he really wanted to see her soon. He suffers each time he know he will be another day without seeing her and another night without hearing her voice
Somehow he seemed relieved by the fact that they could talk everyday and even hear her voice, since he started calling her frequently but, he would have happily change that for the opportunity to have her near, to fell her near, to kiss and touch her, to demonstrate how he loved her
Thinking about this he saw a photo he had in a frame beside his bed
How beautiful she is… - he thought as he saw a photo she gave him some tome ago where she was smiling with an authentically natural smile of hers – just like the one she gives to me when we are together – he whispered
It was already midday, but didn’t care. He didn’t have plans for that day; he would just have a walk with his dog named Bear, thinking
Bear! Let’s go outside! – He called his dog, and went to the great backyard of his grandfather’s house thinking hope I’ll see her soon…

She already knew where she had to go and she even past in front of the big house – just how he told me it will look like – she thought remembering how Daniel described her the house one day. She didn’t want to appear so early, so she’ll get a little drive to the surroundings before she could get in
She was in her car, a blue Honda Civic, really sporty, luxurious looking. Men by the street used to look at her when she passed by but she didn’t what that, or them, she just wanted one man
She arrived at a beautiful plaza and gave a walk around it until she found a pretty comfortable looking tree, she climbed it and sat looking at the sky
Its cloudy – she thought – he also aid me that here it rained so much… but today I think it won’t rain
Thinking about it she got comfortable until she got asleep in the tree, she just wanted to see him soon

It’s cloudy – he said – damm! it’s always cloudy!
When he got out to the backyard that was the only thing he saw there
At eats I won’t get sunburn – he said trying to be optimistic before he got into the backyard with his dog
He gave a run with Bear until he reached his favorite tree of the garden, a big orange tree where he used to climb when he wanted to think, meditate, or just rest
After watching at the sky and the gray clouds pass by he whispered – today will not rain – before he felt asleep in a tree branch thinking about her running through the garden to find him

Its was already 16:00 when she woke up and realized that its was just time for her to go to accomplish what brought her here. It looked like its was late since it was still cloudy, but she just got to get going her way
The house wasn’t so far from there so, first, with a mischievous smile she send him a text message

Oh Bear stop it! – he said annoyed as the dog was licking his hand so he would wake up
He started chasing him trough the whole garden until he was left out of breath and felt something vibrating in his pocket
My cell phone – he thought – it must be her
And he read the text message: “hello, I’m almost there”
What? – He was confused – its must be because of what she said early… I wonder were has she gone
And he answered: “okay but where have you gone?”
He was still curious about her message and was waiting the answer when he realized he had stop chasing his dog, and he wasn’t there. Even more curious he started looking for him in the garden
She had just arrived to the house when she received the message: “okay but where have you gone?”

She was laughing into her own car after she read it – you’ll see – she though before getting out the car and going to the direct entrance to the garden that his father said to her – he must be there… lets see if he is right – and with a smile she found the little entrance to the back yard
When she trespassed it she found a small entrance hall with a roof that had a beautiful open view to a great garden she couldn’t entirely see from her position
She went to the hall and noticed the presence of a great white wolf dog – it must be Bear – she thought and softly she called his name
For her surprise, the dog didn’t even growl to her. He just gazed her for a while and cautiously approach her. She knelt until she was to his size and immediately caressed its ears and smiled as she saw the dog enjoying her touch – you are a sweet dog! – She said enthusiastic like a little girl and stood there caressing him until she heard steps coming form the garden. She turns around just to see a young, thin but strong guy, dressed in a simple yellow shirt and a pair of jeans, watching her with his amazing greenish-grey eyes looking confused
She just stands up slowly and goes to his encounter
