I Walk On
I'm a child of the moment.
I'm a memory in the night.
Always trying, always doing
but I never get it right.
I walk on, I get on but the
results are still the same.
I'm a fool, I'm a child.
Just a dead end I remain.
I'm a dreamer not a doer
and I've been this way too long.
Just a hoping, sometimes praying
but I always end up wrong.
Silly fool with a broken heart
that I behind my smile.
I laugh and I charm
but I'm dying all the while.
Can you see the truth to me?
Where others see my lies?
Will you hear me late at night
and still love me when I cry?
