Intro
This story is purely fictional. If there are any persons similar it is coincidental.
I should let you know that this story is in the POV of the main character, so if you don't like how it is presented you don't have to. I am a guy writing a girl so please keep that in mind and if you want to point something out feel free to. With that said, critic all you want, I know I need help in certain areas and welcome it.
I've been writing this for over a year now with not a lot of progress. Updates will be scarce once I've posted up to where I am at the moment unless enough people express otherwise.
And now the story. This part is just the intro/preface/whatever you want to call it.
--------------------------------------------------------
Hello, my name is Samantha and I will tell you of events that have changed my life forever. When I was young, I was shy and did not play much with other girls. It wasn’t till I found a boy to befriend. After that, I only played with boys. I was never thought of as beautiful, and most girls didn’t like me. It was rough the first few years because I was still shy. I soon came over it though, and made the others pay. I swore I never would be like them, and I was never. Not until I met someone.
It was summer after I graduated from high school. I wasn’t planning on going to college quite yet, so I looked for a job. Since I’m still at home with my parents, I didn’t really need to hurry that much. That didn’t change the fact that I hated them though. So I spent most of my time outside using the job search as an excuse.
Much to my luck, I actually found a job only three days after I graduated. It was, at this private café shoppe, about 12 blocks from my parent’s home. It was ironic actually. I spent most of my time there just to stay out of the house. While waiting, someone had an accident next to my table. I didn’t want all the commotion so I ended up helping clean up. Why did I have to help? I wished I hadn’t. That is, before I met that person.
“Thanks for helping.” The waitress blushed, “I’m such a klutz, sometimes.”
“It’s no problem.” I go back to sit down.
“Wait,” I almost wanted to take her off her feet when she grabbed my arm, “there must be something I can do to make it up!”
“How about a job?”
She couldn’t tell I was joking, and runs off before saying anything. I sit back down hoping I wouldn’t be interrupted again. Soon enough, though, she returns with the “good” news. And that’s where it all began, leading to that fateful encounter.

Note: Since this is just the intro, this will be a two chapter update.
