How
How
---
How do you tell them
that you miss them
after you have
let them go?
Crushed thier views
of what happiness
the future
can still hold?
How do you move on
when you still
think of them
every day
or cry
from longing
whenever you hear
their voice?
I broke her heart
some time ago
and still
I want to
tell her
that
I love her,
that
I miss her.
I hurt
for the wrongs
I have committed.
I hurt for the need
of her presence
in my life.
But I'm the one
who broke her,
who hurt her,
who is in pain
for my
lack of capability
to be loyal.
So how do you tell them?
Sometimes you can't.
You just have to
hold onto them
in whatever way
you can
until they are
ready
to hear your voice,
to see your pain,
to know
that you are the one
who hurts
for your mis-judgements,
for your bad decisions.
How do you
say what you want
to say?
Time and patience
is the only
answer.
Even through
the hurt...
But sometimes
I still ask,
"How?"
