A New Education

-- hi! this is my first slash story, you'll probably be able to tell. i'd love any suggestions for my writing or the plot. reviews will be loved. thanks! #Sperks --

Jason nervously slid his hand through his hair. He didn’t belong here. His tall frame stood in front of a large sized New England building. White outer walls with black shutters, a small front porch with the ceiling painted a light sky blue. The rocking chairs at the front continued the serene pictures, the leaves even a stereotypical orange color for the fall foliage.

“Well, here goes everything.” he whispered under his breath as he took a step forward, suitcase in hand, his school bag on his broad back. This was his new dorm house, at his new boarding school. Intelligence-wise, he should have felt more than welcome at this institution which pushed out more CEO’s, white collared business presidents and famous authors than could be considered just a coincidence, but he knew better than to think his personality would allow him to be accepted. Jason shook his head at his thought, anger passing through his mind momentarily as he had to remind himself that he had won half the battle already. He'd gotten accepted. He could belong here, he just had to work hard. He kept repeating that to himself. Over and over. And over.

He was a few weeks late into transferring to Phillips Exeter Academy, almost impossible at any well-known school, but there’d been a few meetings with his very persuasive father, and he’d been let in. Unfortunately that’d given all his other new house-mates a great long chance to get to know each other while Jason realized he’d just be some guy who was probably invading their space. Fantastic.

He walked up the steps anyway, taking out the key he had been provided and slid it into the lock to let himself in. He heard a click and pushed the door, but it didn’t open. He pushed again and again and felt the frustration welling up in him again. Great! Well, this is just fucking wonderful he thought to himself. Suddenly another click came from the other side and the door swung open forcefully. A huge figure stood in front of him with a large toothy grin. His face was lightly freckled, and the guy’s hair was a mess. His dirty t-shirt and sweat pants reeked of something unholy. Jason liked him already, he’d assumed everyone was going to be a popped-collar bitch. He didn’t think it was actually fair to people though, to judge them like that. He hated stereotypes, and hated it even more when people tried to fit them. He was a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy, and just wore regular beat up sneakers. No label on anything, which happened to turn people away apparently, because people only seem to want to hang out with people who will “help” their image.

“Heya! Might want ta check if tha door’s unlocked already in the futer!” the guy boomed, still smiling down at a not-too-much-smaller Jason. He threw his meaty hands on Jason’s shoulders and pulled him tight till they were chest to chest, Jason’s nose was nestled right in the sweaty, smelly crook of the other dude’s neck. His hands were hanging out on either sides of his body in an awkward and dorky fashion, holding out is increasingly heavy suitcase and the other just because.

“Daaaaaaaaaane! Let ‘im go!” a small voice whined. Dane chuckled and pulled back a bit, but Jason still could not see his saving grace behind Dane's mamoth body. (He really thought Dane could kill him with that grip… and stench.)

“Aaah… lemme take your luggage up to your room for you. You’re supposed to be Jason Brensen, right?” Jason nodded to Dane’s question as the taller boy took his suitcase with ease. He quickly ruffled Jason’s dark brown hair with another chuckle and sprinted up the stairs. It was strange for Jason, having someone do that. He always looked older than he was. He was a pretty athletic boy, he wasn’t beefy, but he was lean. He’d grown up young so he was never an immature kid, and for the most part, he didn’t have any idea how to interact with them or act like a kid, or even someone his own age. Jason was 18, transferring schools partway into his senior year. Everyone thought it was a bad idea, but he knew it was what he needed. People hardly saw him for what he was anymore and he needed a new start. He’d never asked for much so it seemed to be a fair request when he asked to switch schools.

“Dane’s pretty energetic” he heard the small voice say. Jason looked to his left, next to the stairs situated infront of the front door, to see a short, thin boy speaking. His hair was short-ish, but everywhere and dyed black, brown eyes that almost looked amber and the most adorable bottom lip that looked like it was adorning an ever-present pouty look. Jason had never put any thought into his sexuality, but one look at this kid, and he began to wonder.

“I’m Felix” he said, stepping forward and holding out a rather pale hand with black polish decorating his nails. Normally Jason would have scoweled at the clear attempt at a 'goth' look, but it seemed to suit the kid so he let it pass without much thought. Jason took his hand and quietly replied with his own name. He was a quiet person, which seemed odd to almost everyone. Jason unintentionally carried a commanding presence. He was confident in himself, and he knew he’d had a some big obstacles in life and was now pretty much all set. He’d set himself straight, he had a good head on his shoulders and he was proud of that, but he was the hardest person to get to talk. He could listen though, for hours, about anything. He could never say a damn thing about himself though. It used to frustrate him, but he learned, with time, that he just had to speak when required, stand up for himself or others if he needed to, and everything would just take care of itself.

“It’s good to finally meet you” Felix drew Jason out of his thoughts of the boy’s perfect bottom lip “we’ve heard tons about you and we got really excited that we’d be getting a new housemate for the dorm but really nervous that we were gonna get some drunk-assed jock who ate pussy every night” Jason’s eyes would have widened if he ever showed emotion. The kid looked innocent as hell and definitely took him off guard.

“Oh” was Jason’s only brilliant response. Felix began heading to the kitchen off to the left, talking while he walked, Jason following him. He seated himself in a hideous lime green kitchen chair dated in the ‘70’s and listened to Felix as he talked.

“...Yeah. Anyways, it’s a Saturday, the group of us usually go just down to Arbie’s down the road for dinner. It’s a short walk, but we decided that we’d do whatever you wanted. I mean, it’s your first night here an’ all. So, I mean, we can make you dinner if you want, we can order take out, I mean… we really don’t care as long as we eat” Felix offered a smile and then kept talking. He mentioned the phone numbers they had for restaurants, other places they could eat down town, the menus they had for take out places and he just kept going on and on and on and on and on.

“Arbie’s is fine” Jason interrupted the young boy in a soft tone. He didn’t want Felix to think he was upset or annoyed. He really didn’t mind listening to the kid, he had a soft voice and he was very energetic, his hands waving all over the place and he shifted his weight on his feet constantly. It was actually kind of cute.

“okay!” he smiled brightly and bounced out by the stairwell and door way area “IT’S ARNIES!” he shouted out. Five different “okay!”s were heard throughout the house. “time for the tour” Felix stated with what Jason was starting to notice was a constant grin, as the boy grabbed Jason’s hand almost too tightly and pulled him up from his spot on the chair.

"So, quite clearly this is the kitchen. But don't try using the dishwasher, no one's been able to figure it out yet." Felix stated flailing the hand that wasn't attatched to Jason's in the general direction of the dishwasher. "And the trash hasn't been taken out since our second day here so we usually walk any additional stuff out to the street can."

"Ew. What are we doing in the winter?"

"Ummm... good point!" Felix giggled pulling his body close up to Jason's arm, not noticing the larger boy tensing at the action. "So!" he began as they exited the kitchen, going back into the hallway. "What kind of stuff are you into? Like, do you like rock music, acoustic stuff, jazz? Action movies? Horror? Girls? Maybe boys?"

Jason looked up from the floor at Felix in shock at the question only to find the boy grinning wide and jokingly wiggling his eyebrows at him.

A light chuckle escaped Jason's lips as they entered the small living room. "Yeah, I like action movies." He responed, making Felix laugh at his elusiveness.

There was a hideous navy blue couch along the closest wall facing a big screen t.v showing some sports game on that Felix and Jason really couldn't care less. Apparently that was the same for the sleeping form on the couch.

"This" Felix removed his hand from Jason's to motion to the other boy "is Andrew. This is essentially how he spends most of his days." The little boy giggled as an unintelligible grunt came from the figure.

"Fi, I'm sleeeeeeping." Andrew mumbled.

"Yeah but you're aaaaaaaaaaalways sleeping. Besides, this is Jason, the new guy." Jason inwardly cringed. He'd never actually been 'the new guy' before.

"Ahh! Cool." Andrew began to slowly sit up, which eventually turned into standing with an extended hand "Nice to meet you, Jase, I'm Andrew."

Jason shook the hand, glad for his first normal meeting in this house "Nice to meet you too." He said softly.

"Alright, cool, now let's move on." Felix commanded, tugging on Jason's upper arm back out into the hall. "Down there's the bathroom, but don't expect me to show you that." He said lightly with a smile.

Letting go of Jason's arm he led the way up the stairs, purposely putting an extra "swing" in his hips. Needless to say, Jason's eyes were glued to the tiny boy's little bottom in a way that he probably should have felt a little ashamed about.

Fifteen minutes and an endless expanse of sexual innuendos later; after the tour of Jason, Michael, and Felix's room, and Dane and Andrew's shared room, Jason got set free to set up his quite well-sized room. Even as he unpacked, he knew he was in over his head with Felix.
