I Want
I Want
------
I want the rain to come.
I want the pain to end.
I hurt to much
to breathe
or think.
What can one do
just to live through
all the torture
and agony?
Life is slate full
of wonder
and beauty...
But how
do we contend
with the pain
of our biggest mistakes,
when life
reminds us
of these everyday?
With the rain
comes our camouflage.
The rain offers us
a time to dwell
and not be seen
when we are
right out
in the open.
The best rain
for me
is in the night.
Droplets of water
conceal our tears,
and the night
offers shadows,
so that noone
can see
that we hurt.
I want the rain to come.
