Summary: The Archlight brothers suffered greatly, orphaned at a young age, having barely nothing for them to hold onto aside from each other, but now they suffer more with one being taken away and the other left to face the fact that he might actually have to destroy the other in order to save him.

This is actually my first time in writing a fanfiction so I know this will probably be not a well thought out, filled with many errors, fanfiction that I have written…Grr to thinking storylines…xD;

Chapter history: The past, that gave forth the present time.

There was a time of where the black void would linger in the world, letting forth loose the evil that was known as “Malice” it has many names as it went through the years of his chaos, but that was its true and final name. It was energy of pure negativity, feeding itself into the darkness of any creature’s heart and soul, gaining more power off the negative feelings which were sadness and hatred. Malice grew stronger with the upcoming of wars that reined over the lands, causing many to suffer with lost hope and false innocence to be lost. Human’s, as those known to be with mortal blood, gamed themselves into trying to control this known evil, but only to show of their weak hearted and selfish desires would only prove that all would end with death planted upon them and the release of the evil into the world, would plant Malice as the ruler of the world of Light.

Throughout the centuries that came forth, “Malice” spread into the continent, leaving it’s rays of destruction and burning down cities in a cease to cause some great panic towards the humans, whom had released the entity into the world, until barely any land was given the grace of light. The dark entity also gained more power from feeding on the force known as soul life, which was basically the youth and energy that would keep a human alive.

Even with darkness looming in the lands, the light would not give up and thus gave forth its servant, in the shape of a dove to help push the darkness back, but the entity proved to be too strong and thus had destroyed the dove who was supposedly carrying the last hope of light with it, none the less it was all a diversion so that the sacred animal could send forth four crystal shards, in order to combat the Malice and to save the very human’s who took the pleasure of releasing the dark entity out into the world of light.

These shards came to be known as “Asaroth” which held forth four sacred animals.

The first of the shards was the Noble Lion, who was known to be the strongest and the bravest of the group, with its thunder like roars, it would strike fear into the hearts of those who dare to oppose him, its weapon was the blade like weapons, sword, sabers, knives, ect.

The second of the shards was the dragon, mighty in the standards that it was known to be second or even the best of the Noble Lion itself, the dragon is known to be swift and agile with the use of its long like body, the weapons that symbolize the dragon is the lance or the spear.

The third of the shards was the Wise Tortoises, known to be the wisest of the group with its hard shell, this creature was mostly used forth as the defense rather then the fighting, its weapon is the Shield and along with the mace.

The fourth and final shard was the Graceful Phoenix, known to be the magical user of the group, with its wings spread out wide this animal would take to the sky and summon forth its power to protect the weak; its weapon is the staff.

Even with these shards revealing themselves out to the world, they had to choose a host of whom would bare the task of bringing them forth into their soul’s and letting forth the use of the host’s body, giving them in exchange the use of their powers to help stop Malice. Though even with the benefit of obtaining the power, their body could not take everything on its own, due to their little lifespan and so the host and the shards would share the lifespan, until the shard was either destroyed or left on its own accord.

Though the hosts were found in the most critical of time and with their powers and the hope of the people for the shed of light, they were able to go forth in trying their hardest to take down Malice from the world and once again let the light flow through the clouded world of darkness.

Malice was quite aware of the fact that those who were graced with the light had come for it. So in order to do such things as foiling their plans, the entity sent forth its army of darkness, as well of trying to corrupt the Light ones to ensure that the world would only be filled with the darkness of evil. Though hardship, the ones graced with the Light gained allies in certain places and though it took many years of battling, the evil was eventually taken down and sealed into a slab that rest in the middle of the four nations that the Blessed one’s had been able to gain forth a friendship with.

But, this was without a consequence; due to the fact that the host of the sacred animals soon could not live longer then they had been off the life soul of the shards, and the land that was once again filled with light now had to try and fend for themselves once again, this time they took on the liberty of trying to not let themselves fall into the darkness once again.

Four Kingdoms soon enough formed around the middle of the sealed mountain that contained Malice true essence inside. The four kingdoms’ came to be called from the regions where the guardians of the animals took their last breath.

The rising sun was to be the kingdom of Leirion, which was in tribute for the Lion Shard.

The land of the falling moon of Dracionia was in honor for the dragon shard.

The land of the night skies was where the kingdom of Sosurion, was in honor to the Tortoises shard.

And the land of the rising stars was where the kingdom of Aragashia in honor for the Phoenix shard.

By the union with the four countries, all have been bonded by a peace treaty to protect each other from any sort of rebels and to aid each other in fending off the darkness that still linger around the world of Light.

Though the evil was sealed away, it doesn’t mean that it couldn’t be reformed back to it’s original state as it had been many centuries ago. The “Malice” as it was called took the form of a shard, much like the other guardian shards, the animal that it was destine too was the Snake, letting its cunning words and trickery come forth to bring about its release once again into the world. Still the battle of the world’s soul life was on the line and now new guardians were of needed to be appointed incase the time of darkness was to ever come again.


A/U: It is a lot shorter then I had wished it to be, I was hoping to at least get a bit more info into the chapter, I might edit the thing out. After all this is mostly for fun and also to improve my writing skills, hope you all like the story and have fun reading it. I’ll post more when I manage to at least write it up.
