For You

I need you,
but you don't help.
I miss you,
but you don't come.
I love you,
but you don't stay.
I've been imprisoned
within my pain
simply because of my
love for you.
I ache
for your touch,
for your voice,
for your love.
For you.
I burn a fire
born of despair,
longing
and emptiness.
I await
the coming of the
birds of death
to bear
me on thier wind
carrying my ashes
to the stars
where my dead soul
will wait
For you.
I am but ashes...
