I wish I could have tasted them
They sounded so sweat
And yet so sour
When can we live in peace?
Just you and me
Nothing more nothing less
But you and me
Why can’t we see
We’re really that blind
To see you and me
Can’t be
You and me
We can’t be
There’s you
Then there’s me
It just can’t be
Why didn’t we see
Why couldn’t we be
The pain of being nothing
We’ve lost it
Our minds
Our faith
Our love
Our trust
We just can’t be
I wish I could have tasted your words
Your sweat and sour words
