A Goodman's Slumber
Nara Sato sat at the table across from him. It was the place where she usually sat with her friends every day during the lunch break. Nara was considered to be a good student by most standards. She played field hockey, was on the student council and was 10th in her class, she was the definition of normal and predicable. She was the complete opposite of the boy who sat a mere 3 meters away from her. Ken was a complete mystery; he played no sports, nor did he involve himself in school or his work at all. He spoke to few and was close to no one. He was best known for his smug and tranquil smile, which never seemed to leave his face. Ken Nakamura was a good-looking boy, but looked much too old to still be in high school. He was gossiped about a lot by those who weren’t charmed by his mysterious ways.
“Nakamura was held back in his last school, he probably transferred so no one would know he failed…”
“They say that serial killers don’t usually form close friendships when they’re younger, like Nakamura acts now…”
“Oh please, Nakamura obviously has no social skills. We’d all think he was a big dork if we knew him better.”
“They say he lives alone in a big house and hires sex workers every night. It’s even thought he might be a gangster…”
“Nakamura dyes his hair blonde because he needs to hide his identity from the police…”
Nara watched as a group of girls in front of her whispered about him, among them was a shy girl she’d gone to middle school with. Two girls pushed Kaede Asano away from their not so secret conversation and into the direction of Nakamura. She was beet red and her eyes continued to avert downward, even as her tiny voice piped out three quiet syllables
“Nakamura san?”
His smile beamed at her, but he said nothing.
“Um, I just wanted to ask whether you had committed to a group yet for the school fair…yet…”
‘Poor Asano,’ Nara thought to herself as she noticed that more than half of the room had ceased their private conversations and had started to listen in on her petition to Nakamura.
“I’m sorry, Asano san. There’s another group that I wish to work with,” he said kindly.
“O-Oh… well that’s fine, good luck Nakamura san,” said a dejected Kaede.
The room suddenly grew louder, people began to mutter, gossip and speculation was thrown about the room like wildfire. Everyone wanted to know whom it was Nakamura wanted to join. Even at her own desk, her own friends speculated whom he was after.
“Going after a girl by trying to join the same group for the school fair, seems awful cliché for Mr. Mysterious,” said Akiko quickly in a hushed voice.
“I feel sorry for the girl he’s after, you open a can of worms accepting or rejecting love from someone as sketchy as him,” whispered Misato.
“What if he’s after one of us? That would spice up our quiet year,” snickered Haruko.
What Haruko said had some truth, the students in their year were famous for their lack of “interesting” people with the exception of Nakamura. There were no new couples, no one got kicked out or punished for anything juicy…
‘But who would want to be in a place where everyone is so critical of each other?’
Nara stared at Nakamura, she wasn’t the type of person to get into that sort of talk, in fact she too found Nakamura very pleasing to look at. His green eyes sometimes made her wonder whether one of his parents had been foreign like her father was. Nara had green eyes too, though nobody but her friends knew about it, she’d wore contacts since she’d entered high school to avoid the very problem which plagued Nakamura.
Suddenly she found their eyes met, she quickly turned away and tried her hardest to pretend she wasn’t watching. Though she had turned away he had not, she felt his eyes watching her, they burned into her face. She began to breath heavily, fearful yet excited at the same time. He cheeks flushed red and a familiar sensation filled her that she knew wasn’t appropriate for school. She could already feel her panties dampen.
“I’ll be right back,” Nara said hastily.
“Don’t be too long, Nara, we have to talk about what we’re doing for the fair before the sign up sheet goes up after school today,” said Misato.
Nara broke into a run as she hit the hallway. She ran up to the art room that she knew would be deserted until lunch was over. As soon as she shut the sliding door, her fingers forced themselves into her underwear and she soothingly rubbed her clit.
‘How did this happen, he just looked at me. I don’t even like him. I know he’s trouble he isn’t even my type. I cannot like Nakamura!’
The thought of him pushed a small moan from her lips.
“Oh my god, I like Nakamura!”
Licking her lips she shoved two fingers into her pussy as her thumb stroked her clit. She was soaking wet, juice dripped down her thigh as she bit her lip in completely ecstasy.
She longed for him to be there, to feel his tongue navigate it’s way to her clit, his dick to her heat, his lips to her own…
A wave rolled through her, she bit hard on her lips to be sure she didn’t make too much noise as the best and longest orgasm she’d ever had ripped through her, causing her to fall to the floor in pleasure as she licked her fingers for a good five minutes afterwards. She for once felt the need to relish in the after glow of her release.
She collected herself before putting her panties back on and heading back to class, she knew there wasn’t a lot of lunch left.
“Nara are you okay, you look flushed?” Akiko noticed when she arrived back to class.
She assured them that she was okay, but as soon as she did she noticed they all were staring at her. He fear rose.
“What’s going on guys?” She laughed nervously.
“I know we said that, we would all do the fair together this year, Nara, but something has happened,” explained Haruko.
“You know that boy from the other class, Kasumi, the one I’ve liked for a while now?” Misato said excitedly, “he’s asked to be in our group.”
“Congratulations, Misato,” Nara said half heartedly, knowing what was coming.
“We were thinking since you’re tight with more people than Haruko or I you would volunteer to go work with someone else,” explained Akiko.
“Akiko why don’t you want to work with me in a separate group?”
She laughed nervously, “I can’t, Misato needs Haruko and I for moral support, you know how shy she gets…”
“Please don’t bullshit me,” Nara said with her eyes to the ground, “if you don’t want to work with me, you don’t have to lie.”
“We aren’t lying,” said Akiko in a hushed voice. But Nara ignored her.
Her eyes met the hard faced Haruko.
“Well what was it? What’s made me untouchable, what’s being said?”
Haruko said nothing, her face unchanged.
“My friendship means that much to you, does it?” Her teeth glared in the sunset as she lifted her upper lip.
“If you were really our friend, would we really get so tired of you?” she sneered.
Nara put on a stone face, “I really thought you were different from them, you’ll have to tell me about how well traitors sleep.”
With that Nara gathered her things and moved to a spot near the center of the room which ad been empty all year, the best thing about it was the token fat kid blocked her view of Haruko and her old friends.
