Precurser; The Prophet

The Prophet

I am not the Allmighty. Nor am i a mortal. I have no body of my own, yet I live through the ages as a force known by all. It can be said that all that I am is contained in a story, a story of how the world came to be. A story of the crystal that freed the realms of men, and improsoned them once again. A story of Elves, Dwarves, Men and the Dark force that wished to Lord itself over them. This story begins as many things do, with a dream. A dream, and the man who had it. His name was Jere, a human of low birth and only one loyalty. His was a story of Valor. His was a story of Freedom, and in that was a story of confinement. Only if one can truly understand the dream may he understand the story. Though to understand the dream one must first know the land and its inhabitants.
Many races roam the land in the time of the broken crystal, all in thier own seperate societies. Children are born and die old in thier bed without ever knowing the world outside the society wehere they live, while others travel the planet in search of plunder and adventure. Creatures such as Elves, Dwarves, Men, Goblins, Trolls, Ogres and some creatures that are unknown even the the high monks who reside in the Pillar of Ice. Dwarves, the most closed off of the races, live in the south, where deep canyons and desolate plains devoid of any other life are the norm in geography. Elves, the most divers of the races, are seperated into one of twio social classes. At birth, they are placed into one of these classes and seperated from the mother to join thier assigned society. High Elves are the rank given to those of noble birth. High eleves deal mostly in politics and in the dispersion of money. Wood elves, or the warrior elves, are the most robust children. All other children are raised by thier parents and given a class when they come of age, based on intelligence or strength. Dark Elves are not truly elves at all, but a different race entirely. They have the same build as a wood elf, but the skin is very dark and they reside underground. Men live as far from the Pillar of flames as they can, terrified of the evil that conspires there. Ogres, Trolls and Goblins live together in the northeast, united by thier desire to eradicate the other reaces and gain control of the planet.
This is the general nature of the land. Now the the story may begin.

End of Precursor.
