The Battles Within
Chapter One: Fury
It was mid-summer and the temp fluctuates too much for my liking. Today was decent enough with some heat to lull you asleep if you let it. No matter. That though was not what was bothering me.
Currently, my mother is multi tasking by glaring at me while yelling at the top of her lungs. My dad on the other hand is sitting quietly next to her. I'm sitting two yards away facing them.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE YOU THINKING???" yelled my mom in rage. "YOUR DAD AND I HAVE ALREADY TOLD YOU TO GO TO BIBLE SCHOOL INSTEAD OF WASTING 80 GRAND ON LEARNING HOW TO MAKE VIDEO GAMES!!!"
I just kept looking on as my mom ranted some more. I know well enough that her temper is shorter than the width of anyone's hair and it didn't help that the letter from school arrived while I was away.
"DO YOU HEAR WHAT I AM SAYING??? SUNAO!"
I looked at my mom and then my dad. Mentally sighing, I gathered my courage to talk.
