Angelic Monsters
Here’s another poem. I thought I’d put it up even though nobody has reviewed my other poem.
Angelic Monsters
My only friends are monsters
For what society believes I wish they would die
And leave me alone with my dreams of life
Happiness flees in a blinding light, and I’m the only one that weeps when the last monster dies
Society rejoices and I lay and mourn in the dark
Wrapped in memories of the last time someone cared enough to smile
The last to be concerned was one of society’s supposed monsters
From the dawn I saw,
What they believed were angels were devils to me
I am alone in my wanderings, and where are the monsters......
Humans took them away from me
Angelic Monsters
