Pain
I'm going to miss you, baby...........
Those words ripped through my heart. How could he be so cruel? Did he not realize what those words would do to me or did he actually know and say them because of the pain they would cause? Had I unknowingly caused him the same type of pain?
Did he know I would cry myself to sleep after reading them? However did he find his way into my inner sanctuary? I thought I had that door locked up tight. I didn't even realize he had found a way in until I read those words. Would he laugh to know I cried on and off throughout the day?
Life is a cruel thing indeed. My soul feels like it's been torn away.
Pain turns to anger. Anger turns back into pain. Liquor does nothing to weaken the pain. All it does is weaken the senses and makes you feel worse.
I have said I'm sorry. I have lashed out in anger. None of it matters. I wonder what, if anything he feels.
