I won't let you leave me.

"Hey, I can't answer my phone right now, so just leave a message and I'll call you back when I can. Bye." A female's voice rung through the cell phone before a 'beep' sounded.

"Woman! Answer your damn phone!" Raven slammed her phone shut before she threw herself back on the bed. Her dark locks spilling out over the side. She breathed in and out slowly as she closed her dark eyes. She couldn't shake the bad feeling she had about her best friend. 'Woman...I know something is wrong...but what is it...'

The ringing of the dorm phone knocked her out of her thoughts. Slowly she sat back up and reached for the phone.

"Hello?" She asked into the receiver.

"Hey Baby." A male voice rattled into her ear.

"Look dumbass, she isn't here. Call back later." Without even giving him time to reply, she slammed the phone back down and laid back. "I need a nap."

A few hours later, the phone once again woke up the groggy female.

"Hello?" She asked sleepily into the phone.

"Hi hun." Another male voice spoke into the phone. This one held little emotion, although she was used to it, considering she had been dating the guy for nearly three years.

"Vince? What's up?" At the sound of his voice, she instantly perked up.

"Hey, since it's Friday and all. How about I come get you for the weekend? We can go visit Jenn and Justin and spend the day with them on Saturday." If only she could see his face on the other side of the line.

"Sounds good to me. I'm gonna kick her ass when I see her. I haven't been able to get hold of her all day."

"Okay, well I was hoping you would say yes. I'm already over half way there, so see you in less than an hour. Love ya baby, bye."

"Bye." She chirped happily as she set the phone back down and quickly threw a few changes of clothes into her bag before she ran for the shower.

"Ready to go?" Vince asked as he walked through her door. His long black hair was up in a ponytail and his hazel eyes were still behind his dark shades. He was wearing a simple black hoodie and a pair of dark denim jeans.

"Of course." She happily replied as she threw her bag at him. Grabbing her own red hoodie off her computer chair, she swiftly brought it over her small frame and locked the door behind her as they walked toward his black mazda.

The ride was a pretty silent one as the sun set and darkness overtook the skies.

"Want a bite to eat hun?" He asked looking at her through the corner of his golden eye.

"Nah. I just really want to see my ikeike...I have this really bad feeling, and you know how I get when I get them." He nodded and picked up the speed a little more. Anything to make her happy.

"Hello?" A female voice asked.

"WOMAN! Where in the hell have you been?!" Raven's voice rung out.

"Justin and I have been out. Sorry, I didn't have any service. What's up?" Jenn replied back with a small laugh.

"I'm gonna be at your place in like another ten minutes. Hope your ready to see me!"

There was a short pause. "Well there went my night." Jenn sighed out.

"TEARS!" Raven retorted with a loud sniffle to add to the dramatic effect.

"Oh woman, you know I'm just fuckin kidding. Door will be open." And with that Jenn hung up.

"Psh, she never says 'bye', always just freakin hanging up." Raven complained as she put her phone back into the arm rest of the car.

"Justin does the same damn thing. I guess that's just another reason you know they are good for eachother." Vince replied with a laugh.

Vince pulled into Jenn and Justin's apartment complex ten minutes later. They got out and walked the two flights to the small apartment. Raven knocked twice and then let herself in, followed by Sessh who closed the door behind himself.

"WOMAN!?" Raven called out when her friend didn't immediately greet them.

"I'm coming..I'm coming..geez!" Jenn laughed from the back of the apartment. "Just sit your asses down."

Raven huffed out as Vince grabbed her around the waist and pulled her down into his lap in the large green armchair.

"IKEIKE!" Jenn mock cried out as she dog piled Raven and Sessh. "I've missed you so!"

"YOU ARE KILLING ME!" Vince moaned out from beneath the laughing women.

"Psh, fucking baby." Jenn laughed as she got off of them and made her way to the couch. Her blue eyes glistened slightly as she wiped them quickly. "Damn allergies." She mumbled.

"Where's my dumbass little brother?" Sessh asked after he pushed off a pissed off Raven as well.

"He went to take care of some stuff. He should be home soon though. Do you guys want anything?" Jenn looked toward her best friend. "Dr. Pepper? We still have a few left from the last time you visited."

Raven smiled. "No thanks. I'm on a diet. No more soda for me."

"Holy shit! The world is gonna freaking end!" Jenn grabbed at her heart. "Woman, you don't need to be on a diet, I love you just the way you are!"

"Yea, same here." Sessh added.

"I love you too Lepruchaun." Another black haired male strode through the front door. Catching the other three off guard.

"You sir. Are late AND have been hanging out with Leon wayyy too much." Jenn spoke matter-of-factly.

"You're lucky Jenn loves you so much, your balls have been saved. For now." Raven threatened.

"She loves my balls..well more so my dick, but yea!" He smirked. A fang pertruding from his lips.

Jenn gasped and turned bright red as he continued to smirk smuggly. "Asshole." She growled out.

"Anyways!" Vince interrupted. "How about some dinner? I'm famished!"

"Great idea! I want some Ramen!" Justin said excitedly.

"How about Olive Garden?" Raven interjected, as she saw Jenn's face at the thought of Ramen.

"Yay Chicken Alfredo!" Jenn happily chorused.

"Feh..fine. Let me go get changed real quick then." Justin ran back to his room and came back out in a black button up silk shirt half way unbuttoned, showing off his toned chest. He wore a pair of form fitting jeans and sneakers and had his hair pulled back in a low ponytail.

"Well, I guess we should look a little more snazzy too huh hun?" Sessh asked as he got up and dragged Raven to the guest room where they had a few outfits that they left there, just for occassions like this.

When the two couples met back up in the living room. They all looked more casual. Vince was wearing a white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of black slacks and loafers. Raven had her hair pulled back into a tight bun and she was wearing a red halter top that showed off her tiger eyes tattoo with the different phases of the moon going around it. A crescent moon pendant hung from her neck and complimented her hip hugging black slacks and high heeled sandals with crescent moon buckles. Her dark brown eyes were lightly lined and lavendar eyeshadow brought out her eyes even more. Jenn emerged in a bright pink tanktop that showed off her ample cleavage and a black blazer. Her dark wavy hair was pulled into a high ponytail revealing her eight ear piercings. Her eyes were darkly lined which brought out her blue eyes even more. Her nose stud was a small diamond stud and glistened beneath the artificial lighting. She had on a short black skirt that had a bright pink loose fitting belt with a skull for the belt buckle that hung over her curvy hip. She wore black calf high boots with her tiger cub tattoo just peaking out from the top of the left one.

"Well it seems were all ready. One car or two?" Justin asked as he grabbed his keys and wallet.

"I need to get some gas after we eat so two." Vince replied as he headed for the door.

"So how is school and the such woman?" Jenn asked after she swallowed a mouth full of alfredo.

"It's stressful and boring but I made supervisor at work so I take all of my aggressions out on the blue shirts." She smiled proudly.

"Uhm nice." Justin stated with a raised brow. "So big brother, does this mean that she dominates your ass in the bedroom too?"

Vince sputtered on his alfredo before he glared at his little brother. "No more than Jenn does you, little brother."

"Damn Raven, you go girl!" Jenn happily responded. "Oh, oh, oh! But Justin and I have something we'd like to share with you two!"

It was Justin's turn to sputter. "I thought we were gonna wait a little longer before we said anything..."

"Psh, why should you!?" Raven growled out at him.

"Feh, whatever. You wanna say or do you want me too?" He grabbed Jenn's hand and squeezed it firmly. She smiled and he smiled back. "We are expecting our first kid. She's three months pregnant."

Raven's jaw dropped open. "Uhhhh and you don't think you're a little young for this woman?"

"Well you know, I wasn't really planning on it, but it happened and now you're gonna be a fuckin auntie!"

"Congrats Jus'." Vince smiled as he shook Justin's hand.

The rest of dinner was filled with both couples marriage plans since they were planning on having a double wedding in the spring of the following year.

After the males paid their bills both couples split up, Jenn and Justin deciding to call it an early night and Vince and Raven going for gas before they headed back for the apartment.

"Why is the damn road blocked off!?" Vince cursed as he tried to call his brother to tell him they would be late because they were in traffic.

"Looks like there was an accident up there." Raven offhandely answered as she watched another set of police cars jet by. Another look and she sat back in her chair. "Looks like they are re-routing traffic around the lane, just wait it out hun."

"I can't get hold of Justin. They need new service providers or something, this shit is getting ridiculous." Raven nodded as she watched the flashing lights come closer into view.

"Oh my god Raven...I think that is Justin's car."

Raven jumped out of the slow moving car and pushed back the paramedics to see her best friend on the ground, unconscious. Justin was sitting up but he looked like a rag doll.

Two strong arms wrapped around her shoulders and she knew that it was Vince. "They said you could ride with Jenn. I'm gonna go with Justin. I'll see you at the hospital hun." With that, the warmth was gone and she was left alone once again.

The ride to the hospital was a blur for her as she watched the paramedics desperately try to bring her unconscious friend to life. Her blue eyes were closed tightly and it seemed tears, mixed with eyeliner, were still streaming from behind her lids. Her left leg was bent in an unnatural manner and her whole right side seemed to be completely black. They told her it was road burn. Her head had a huge gash above her left eyebrow and a few of her piercings on either side seemed to have been ripped out. Her left fingers were bent weirdly as well. Raven calmed herself enough to ask one of the men what exaclty had happened.

"Seems that they were at the stop light and an apparent drunk driver slammed into them from the back, going atleast sixty. Your friend here was wearing a seatbelt but the crash catapulted her out the window and she slid maybe seventy yards. Her boyfriend was smashed into the steering wheel and more likely than not, has severe internal bleeding. The airbag kept him from sustaining worse injuries, luckily for him."

Raven nodded slowly as she let everything seep in. "What about the baby...she is three months pregnant."

"No way the kid survived lady. She'll be lucky if she survives honestly."

"YOU BASTARD!" Raven hollared as she grabbed her friends bloody hand and cried. 'I won't be able to survive without you around ikeike...'

"How is he?" Raven asked bitterly as she sat in the waiting room. Jenn had flatlined four times in the ambulance and they had rushed her into the ER, making Raven sit in the waiting room while she silently prayed to the God she wasn't all to sure she completely believed in.

"He's in surgery. One of his lungs collapsed and he has major internal bleeding. He's a fighter though, he'll pull through." He wrapped his arms around her small form and leaned into her. "What about the punk princess?"

"I don't know. I really don't know." All the emotion she had been holding in up until then was released instantly and she wept on his shoulder. "The baby definitely didn't make it and she flatlined atleast four times. I can't lose her Sessh, I just can't."

The black haired male held his fiance for the next six hours while they waited for word about either Jenn or Justin. Finally a doctor came out and informed them that Justin would survive. His lung was still severly messed up and he was on a ventilator but other than that he was as well as expected. The doctor then took them back to his room and let the young couple sit with him for a bit.

Justin's hazel eyes held so many questions as his brother and Raven walked into his dim room. Raven walked straight upto him and put her hand on his shoulder, squeezing lightly. She bent down beside his ear. "Jenn is not doing good and the baby didn't survive. I am so sorry hun."

A lone tear slid down his angular face as Vince came up and wrapped his arms around Raven. "They're doing everything they can for her little brother. You have to have faith. She's a strong woman."

Slowly the bedriden male nodded his head.

"I'm so sorry sir and ma'am but I am gonna have to ask you to leave for about an hour while we test his lung capability." A young nurse whispered as she walked into the room.

Vince tensed up slightly but nodded solemnly. "I'll be back Justin. I promise." He took Raven by the hand and the two walked back to the waiting room.

"He looked so helpless just laying there with all of those machines around him." Vince emotionless spoke. Raven could see past his emotional block though, she knew on the inside that the man she loved for being so strong was silently breaking down. This brought more tears to her eyes. Her life went from perfect to a disaster in a matter of minutes.

They sat in silence as they continued to wait to hear word about Jenn.

"Sir? Sir, please wake up." Another young nurse gently shook Vince until one of his hazel eyes cracked open. "Your brother would like to see you sir."

Vince silently nodded as the nurse walked away. He looked down at the dissheveled form of his brunette spitfire before he stretched and gently shook her awake as well. "Inu wants us." He stated simply before he quickly walked to the room.

"How is she Vince? Any word?" Justin was no longer attached to the ventilator but he still had oxygen connected to his nose. He had cuts and bruises all over his face and neck where the glass had shattered on him.

"No word yet Justin. I will go find out right now for you though." Justin nodded as Vince walked toward the nurse's station.

"What happened Raven?" Justin's tired hazel eyes fell on her petite form.

"You were involved in a car accident hun. A drunk driver slammed into the two of you." She sadly answered in barely above a whisper.

"Did the bastard survive?" He growled out.

"I don't know Justin." She answered as she sat down beside his bed and put her head down beside his side.

He brought out his battered arm and ran his clawed hand through her hair. "Sleep Raven. Everything will be okay when you wake up."

Her eyes defied her wishes and she slowly drifted off to subconsciousness, she would not be able to soundly rest until she heard the news her best friend would be coming home.

"Justin..." Vince stepped in a few minutes later. He looked down at the sleeping form beside his brother and sighed softly. Atleast he could handle one of them at a time. "They were gonna tell you but I think it is better coming from me little brother."

"She isn't gonna make it, is she?" His hazel eyes welled up with unshed tears.

Vince took in a deep breath. "They put her on life support...long enough for you and her family to say goodbye."

"We...we are her only family...you know that." Justin ran a hand through Raven's hair. "I want to see her. Now."

"Okay. I will go get a wheel chair so I can wheel you to her room little brother." Vince turned back around and quickly exited the room in search of a wheel chair.

Justin's nose quickly picked up the scent of tears. But they were not his own. His hand slowly and gently ran across Raven's face and he wiped away the steady stream of tears from her eyes. She wasn't awake nor asleep. She had heard her friend was never gonna wake up again, but she was not conscious enough to let it be known.

"What reason do I have to live now?" He questioned outloud to no one in particular. "She lived only for me and Raven and I live only for her and my unborn child. I went from being on top of the fucking world to being at rock bottom." Tears spilled out as he wept silently to himself.

"You have to live for me Justin. Continue to survive for me love." A soft whisper filled his ears. He was going crazy, he knew it, but he didn't care, just so he could hear her sweet voice one more time. "I love you Justin, I always will. Look at the bright side, I am with our daughter now. And hell, there will never be pain again." He smiled as he could hear the contentness in her voice. He would try to live for her, he wasn't promising anything and he knew it would be a day to day thing. "I'll try for you Jenn, I'll always love you too my punk princess."

"Why in the hell are you talking to yourself Justin?" Raven slowly sat up and ran a hand through her hair.

"No reason. The drugs must be fucking me up or something." He tried to force a smile but it came out as a scowl.

"They're fucking up your face too, you look like a dumbass." Suddenly everything hit her. The conversation she heard when she was supposed to be asleep. "She's really gone, isn't she?"

Justin nodded slowly. "After we say bye, I'm taking her off life support. She wouldn't want to be dragged out for no reason."

Raven slowly nodded as Vince walked through the door with a wheel chair. The couple helped the male onto the chair and Vince slowly pushed her toward the room while Raven held his hand.

Without hesitation, they walked into the room and straight upto the shell of the young woman that changed them all in one way or another. Justin, with the help of his brother, got up onto the bed and layed down beside her still form. Her hair was like a halo around the white pillow and her face had been cleaned up.

"She looks like she is sleeping so peacefully." He whimpered as he ran his hand over her face. "Goodbye Jenn. I love you more than anyone could ever understand and there will never be another like you in the world. You have made me the man I am today and for that I will always be grateful. Find peace in Heaven with our daughter and please never leave my side. I will be with the two of you one day. I love you punk princess." He kissed her swollen lips softly and then slid back into the wheelchair.

Next Raven walked up and grabbed her non battered hand. "Woman, you promised that you would never leave me. We were supposed to be ikeike's for life. You are only twenty fucking years old. You had such a bright future ahead of you. You know that I have and always will love you woman." She kissed her softly on the cheek. 'I promised I would kill myself if you ever left me woman...I don't know how I will survive without you..'

Vince went up and kissed her softly on the cheek as well. The three of them silently zoned out to the good times with her as the doctor came and pulled the plug from the wall. Her breathing slowly faded until it was non-existant, Justin held her hand for what seemed like forever. He didn't want to let her go. Just before they dragged him away. He placed a chaste kiss to her abdomen, where his little angel was.

Justin was released from the hospital the next day. He quickly made all of the funeral arrangements with the help of Raven and Sessh who stayed with him. Raven took a leave of absense from school while she watched over her depressed friend.

On a beautiful Wednesday afternoon they held the funeral. There were so many people in attendance that there was barely any room to walk. At the cemetary, they made sure it was only her closest friends in attendance. The sun shone brightly and it was rather warm outside. Today was not the day for a funeral, the two young couples should of been at the beach or park, but really, what day is a perfect day to be burying someone you love?

Over the next few months, Justin's health continued to deteriate. He just didn't have the will to live. His lung had stopped functioning completely and he would skip taking the medications if he could get away with it. Raven and Vince could only do so much from him. Instead of working at the lodge like she did every summer, Raven had committed herself to taking care of Justin. He was so depressed she could hardly stand to be around him without crying. She was sorely depressed herself.

One night she walked into Justin's room and found him to be peacefully asleep, or so she thought. In the back of her mind she knew that he had probably overdosed on the medications but she didn't want to fully believe it. She walked quickly to her room and pulled out a pad of paper and a pen. She finished writing the small note and placed it on her fiances' pillow before grabbed the small bottle of pills she had 'borrowed' from Justin. She dumped the whole bottle into her hand, and one by one swallowed all thirty pills.

She looked at the clock. Vince would be home in thirty minutes. She didn't want to leave him alone. She wasn't that selfish. But she just couldn't survive any longer. She was not happy and honestly, he was being selfish for wanting her to suffer day in and day out. Slowly she started to slip out of consciousness, and just before she completely blacked out, she let a small smile form on her lips.

"I died happy Vince, unlike Jenn and Justin, I died happy."
