No One's Gonna Hurt You Now
A dark Alec/Vincent fiction by Setsuna-Jikan
Humming a cheery tune to himself, Alec played with the silky black hair. A silly little smile shone against pasty skin and hollowed eyes. He ran red fingers through the strands, untangling it; a wriggling white maggot dropped to the floor.
He giggled, voice shrill and eerie in the silence, and shifted on the lip of the tub. Greasy, grime-encrusted blonde hair flopped forward, dragged by gravity.
He didn't notice.
"Its okay, Vincent, no one's going to hurt you now," he comforted, caressing the pale golden face. His ratted fingers carefully avoided the rotting hole in his cheek. "No one's gonna hurt you, just going to be you and me." Emaciated bruised arms wrapped around a caved in chest, hugging him close. The sludge squelched and popped; the stale air smelled foul for all of a moment, then nothing.
Red eyes stared vacantly towards the ceiling; one twitched and shook as a maggot devoured it from within.
Alec smiled, pressing bruised and bleeding lips to cold hard skin.
"Just you and me now." He giggled again, green eyes fever-bright.
He straightened back out, resumed finger-combing Vincent's hair. He hummed again, happy.
After all, now Vincent and he could live together forever and ever. And no one would ever hurt them again.

AN: *cough* Yeah. Er, I don't really have an explanation for this. My mind just likes taking dark turns sometimes, and this is one of the results. I kinda squeemed myself out while writing it. ^^;
Mind, this is not what's gonna happen in EwB. Alec is not that freakin' mental. This is just a very dark look at 'might've been's'.
To clear it up: Alec is keeping Vincent's dead and rotting body in a tub, spending his time combing his hair. Alec is not eating period; this includes not eating Vincent.
Don't you all just love me?
