What I Am
What I Am
Darkness is what I am.
It's what I need,
What I long for.
Pain is where I live.
It's what I feel,
What I breath.
Longing is always in me.
It's what I wish for,
What I live through.
Love is a farce.
It's what I'll never have,
What can never be.
Deceiving is what I do.
It's as natural to me as breathing to you,
What I will always do.
Death is what I want.
It's what will set me free,
What will finally give me peace.
Now do you see?
It's all an act called life,
What I have to do to hide me from you!

It's what I feel,
