Trip

okay this is my first attemp at a writting a story ever or at least in a long time. i am open to critism so please feel free to comment but please do not be rude. i encourage feedback for quicker updates if anyone likes the store.

the story will be written from first person pov. and i will try to keep it consistant. and < > these symbols mean italics.

the main characters are lizzy and julia. it is written from lizzy pov she is about 19 years old in the beggining has red curlly hair and is taller then julia. lizzy has a childish personnality and has never really stepped outside of her boundiers. julia is a year older and wiser, she got into a lot of trouble in her younger days but she is settling down.

Chapter 1

I feel a pair of lips lightly on my cheek waking me from my deep sleep. At first I am annoyed until I remember where I am and more importantly who I am with.

I planned a trip to visit my dad a few months ago when Julia and I were just friends, but since then we have grown much closer. My dad lives on the other side of the country in Arizona and had been bugging me to come visit him, so I decided to go for two weeks. Then, a week or so before I was to leave we got into an argument, which was entirely my fault, I told her I did not want to come out to my parents and then she left. Now I had no reason to stay home, she would not take my calls and was avoiding me entirely.

My mom brought me off at the airport around seven in the morning and after I had made it passed security I waved good-bye to her. I had about twenty minutes until the plane would begin boarding so I sat back with my head phones in and thought about things. I need to get away from it all, Julia did not want to be with me and I need to clear my mind far from it all. I would have done almost anything for her but coming out meant no more money, no more college, no more playing with my cousins. It takes time to be able to give it all up why could she not see that.

My eyes where closed and my head was back as sat there waiting for my plane. Out of no where I felt myself being yanked up.

“Hey let go of me.” I blurted out before realizing who it was that was embracing me.

“Lizzy I am coming with you.” I felt Julia’s warm face against my check and tears were forming in her eyes.

I pulled back from our hug to look at her, “You left me and I am not willing to change. Not now that I know you are just going to leave me. You never…” she cut me off.

“shhh…I don’t care anymore it’s alright I just can’t lose you.” She whispered taking my hands she pulled me back in to a hug, “Please, Lizzy, take me with you.”

We stood there for a long time as I thought about what was happening. Finally the moment was broken

“Well what do you say; can I be your girlfriend again?” She pleaded with a pout on her lips.



How can I leave her standing there? “Yes. What did you buy a last minute ticket that had to be expensive?” I questioned grabbing up my carry-on.



“Actually I bought it awhile ago when I found out that you had planned to go. I wanted to surprise you. Surprise” She smiles, throwing her arms in the air.



“Yeah surprise.” I smile I know I should keep my mouth shut but it opens “You didn’t just come here cause you already had the ticket did you?”



She looks at me with somewhat hurt eyes, “If you don’t want me this is an overbooked flight I can sell my ticket back and leave.” She turns away from me.



I reach for her wrist before she can go far, “NO, I want you, don’t go I’m sorry for bring it up. You’re here and that’s all that matters to me.”



“That’s us lets go” with that we board the plane and of course are on opposite side of the aircraft.
