Seasons
Spring so bursting with life and joyfulness
The seasons wind a delightful caress
The rivers song a peel of laughter
All wish for spring to last ever after
Meadow blossoms sparkle with morning dew
In the light of a day that hath dawned anew
Nature sings a song of life and rebirth
While children’s voices dance with mirth
The seasons they turn round and round
As we walk upon natures sacred ground
Bringing life and wisdom in all its forms
So that all may weather its forceful storms
Summer brings with her a shawl of color
Bright and alluring as ones first lover
Drawing one to natures embrace
Sweat and full of a dancers grace
Life grows and blooms with love
With summers soft and tender glove
The warmth of the sun’s balmy kiss
Is a treasure all shall soon miss
The seasons they turn round and round
As we walk upon natures sacred ground
Bringing life and knowledge in all its forms
So that all may weather its many storms
Autumn brings a harvest reaped from nature’s soil
To nurture and reward those who work and toil
Sustaining and tending to through the year
Those who sleep and shielding them from fear
A quilt of colored leaves do fall
To protect those from winters call
Sending those to slumber and rest
Through natures most frigid test
The seasons they turn round and round
As we walk upon natures sacred ground
Bringing life and sustenance in all its forms
So that all may weather its frosty storms
Winter brings a dusting of pristine snow
Heralding a change that all must know
A cold embrace to chase the breeze
And freeze the rolling seas
A chilling kiss to cleanse the earthy loam
So that new life may once again roam
A time of slumbers and needed rest
So that in spring nature may be her best
The seasons they turn round and round
As we walk upon natures sacred ground
Bringing life and joy in all its forms
So that all may weather its loving storms
The season they turn round and round
To alter natures visage all around
Dancing hand and hand with the sun
To start again when spring has begun
The seasons wind a delightful caress
The rivers song a peel of laughter
All wish for spring to last ever after
Meadow blossoms sparkle with morning dew
In the light of a day that hath dawned anew
