power play
As the coin turned in the air ky wondered why Bob didn't just take the damn seat, he is skinny and taller by almost a foot he needs the leg room, but maybe it was cause Cyn is driving, or because mike was in the back and there might not be enough room for the two broadest bodies to be in the back. Not that ky is fat, the navy took what little fat he had and turned it into steel only 5"7' but around 210.
ither way he just had to flip for it, ky always won anyways so why did Bobby even bother? Bob caught the coin and slaped it to the back of his hand. "tails" he hissed.
"I guess u get shotgun." ky slid into the front seat as Bob buckled in next to Mike. "let's see, where's the next stop at?" Cyn looked at ky before answering. "Its at Lizs, about 6 hours away." that meant that they wouldnt get there until 1AM. "I guess I'm gonna hafta switch with ya then." Mike was usually pretty quite when he did speak he kept it straight forward and easy to understand. "At around 11 if you don't mind." Cyn was looking tired already her slight frame kinda slumped in the seat. Mike shifted his girth around in order to gain what little comfort he could out of his seat. his gut was fat but every thing else is pure muscle "wake me then." Bob put his head phones in and shut his eyes. They drove in silence for about 30 minutes before ky heard bobs heavy breathing and mikes light snoring. Ky cracks the window and lites a cigarett Cyn does the same. "when was the laste time you saw Liz?" ky just wanted to keep her company so that she wouldn't fall asleep. Cyn took a drag, "almost a year." ky nodded "how old is she now?" Cyn thought for a moment, "shell be 17 in June." "why did you leave?" Cyn lets out sigh "I don't want to talk about it now." ky throughs his cig out the window. "that's fine" he sits back and shut his eyes.
Cyn yawns she glances at the clock
9:45 just another hour to go. The
mountain road was empty and dark there were no street lights here. she thought back to the last time she was up here it seemed so long ago. She yawns a second time and checked the clock again "9:50 damn I'm so tired" just a little longer.
The first bump was jaring and ky woke up instantly cyn's eyes snap open and she quikly grabs the wheel. But its too late and the car goes over the edge into the ravine.
Ky opens his eyes, his head hurts, he groggily stands and looked around, there wasn't much light but he could see some further away. "where's the car?" he said it without realizing it. The car! It all came back in a flash the fall the crash Bobs screaming, his crawl from the reck only to see his lower torso remained while he tried to get out. "Welcome" a voice said ky looked around and saw nothing but a dim glow in the distance. "It is a great honor to have you here again golden child" the voice seemed to come from every where. Then the figure stepped forward.she was easily seven feet tall, with hair that flowed like silk, she wore a dark blue robe, and her face was beautifuly dignified.she looked fairly young but carried the with her an air that spoke of great and ancient wisdom. Of course all this was lost on ky "what do you mean again? Where is here? Where are my friends? What about the crash there's no way I survived!"
