Rain
RAIN
Clear blue skies folded over with mist
Inhale the sweet scent
Fill your lungs with dew
Wash away the pain
Wash away the sorrow
Feel the drops slip down your cheeks
Clear and pure shining with light
Look up into the heavens
Blessing from above
Wash away the pain
Wash away the sorrow
Let the rain pour down upon my skin
Cool to the touch
Deadly to the fool
Wash away the pain
Wash away the sorrow
Take from me all I have
Clean my soul anew
Let the rain wash away
Meld with my tears
Know not the difference
Wash away all the pain

Rain today what tomorrow
