Mai's Cruise
Hey guys! Warning: My chapters kind of suck for this story but the story itself isn't bad, maybe confusing, but not bad. Please read and enjoy! Oh and review/comment too please! I'd like to know what you think. Whether you hated it or just liked it.
Mai's Cruise
Mai Rydell is an eighteen year old highschool student. She attends an average school in the middle of town. The graduating class decided that they were going on a trip before their vacation so they decided on going on a cruise for a week or so. But before Mai went off on her trip, shei and her mother decided to go for a drive. Her mother had told her about a small cliff she had visited.
"It's a really great view but when I looked down, someone had thrown out an entire entertainment unit! That's disquisting! It was such a nice place."
They decided to visit the cliff. As they drove down the forest surrounded, tiny dirt road, Mai made a comment.
"Gees, you could kill someone and dump their body here and no one would ever know."
They looked at eachother, horrified. A red truck start to appear as they got to the end of the road. A man with a beard drank from his beer bottle as another man grabbed a coffee cup laying on the ground. Mai and her mother looked at eachother.
"Okay, I don't care to find out what they're doing. Let's head back?"
"Yeah, sure."
Mai nodded nervously. She looked at the clock which read 12:30. They would get home a two o'clock and Mai would pack the rest of her things for the trip. A couple of classes were going on a small cruise boat for a week. Mai and friends were excited about being on a boat for so long, let alone a small cruise. It was six o'clock by the time Mai had finished packing. She had decided to watch T.V. Flipping through the channels, she recognized the cliff she had visited. Mai turned up the volume.
"Today at Alberton cliff, a body was discovered. The approximate timing of the dumping at around noon and one o'clock. There are two men being accused of the murder but no descriptions are available at present time. We will keep you updated."
Mai felt her stomach turn into knots. She ran into the bathroom and vomited. She washed her face, wiping the side of her mouth. Her heart pounded.
"Honey? Everything okay?"
Mai suddenly realized she left the bathroom door open.
"I think I ate too much."
Mai was turned away. She wasn't abbout to tell her mother what she had saw on the news.
"Oh, okay."
Her mother left her alone and Mai tried to calm herself. Tomorrow was a big day and nothing was going to ruin it.
